Spiderman custom portrait

I was asked to draw Spiderman by my brother-in-law. I was very intimidated because I have never drawn a superhero before. He wanted something in my style but honestly I don’t even know what my style is. I do love drawing people so I figured adding him to a spiderman drawing was my style.
I also drew my sister being rescued by Spiderman. There is a cover of a comic that I used for reference and just adjusted it to add my sister. If you’re a fan of spider maybe you know the cover. I think I embellished on the string stuff he shoots out, I just drew what I thought was interesting.
I can imagine fans of spiderman cringing looking at these pictures because I probably have so many things off that Im just unaware of. I know my stringy stuff is funky in some areas but hey, drawing is a process of learning and growing in taste and talent. I spent so much of my life hiding my drawings because I was so afraid of criticism this is an act of fighting against my natural tendencies.
