I sometimes use some tracing to make sure my portrait proportions are exact. Other times I just draw what I see by eye. For this portrait, I drew completely by eye. It’s good practice and I try to do it often. This drawing was done in Marker. I’m pretty new to markers, but I do enjoy how quickly a picture comes together.
