I think I would approach the wings differently if I re-drew this today.This was my second color pencil drawing ever. I was trying different color pencil blending techniques on the leaf. One was asatone and I absolutely hated it. I tried white pencil, top of leaf, and I didn’t like how it lightened everything. I prefer a color pencil blender or just lots and lots of layers of colored pencil. I did the ladybug with many many layers and I like this best.
