Artwork, InkInktober 2020 coral, dizzy, sleep. January 22, 2021August 1, 2021I started sketching brain coral for the days prompt but as I drew I imagined a scuba diver observing a brain in a jar. It ended up being a way more interesting picture with lots of things you could take away from it.My first sketch was of a dog chasing his tail but it was lacking a real dizzy look. I figured an animal with stripes and a lines representing his spinning would help make it have an overall dizzy look. I also tried to have his head and paws positioned to look like he was trying to recover from his dizzy spell.I realize now I drew a lot of moons this inktober. I had a hard time figuring out how to draw the different shadows on this moon. I re-drew the moon many times on a separate sheet of paper. I was losing details or making the moon look paper thin by filling it in too dark. I finally settled on filling it in like you see above.Share this:FacebookXLike this:Like Loading...
