I wanted to try combining colored pencil and ink drawing. I like the look and I think it could be even better if I took more time to layer the pencil well.Rip Van Winkle was my idea for today. I imagined what his story would be like if he woke up in 2020. I really was short on time and had to edit the details I was going to draw. When this happens I just draw what is needed to get the point across. Finding time to draw daily was a good habbit and one I should start again.I had run out of ideas and couldn’t think of one thing for dig. I returned to one of my favorite things to do as a child and drew a disney character. I drew a lot of Looney Tunes, Disney, Animaniacs, Peanuts, and Calvin and Hobs when I was growing up. It was therapeutic to draw like I was 12 again.
