My picture is so blurry, I need to invest in a tripod and lighting.
My ink pens came in, yay! The Day’s prompt was radio and I had no ideas. So I just drew a radio with a bamboo antenna and went from there.
This was the day I started to think about drawing in story form. I usually draw photo realistic or from an actual experience, so this was new to me. The prompt was blade and I wanted to avoid the obvious knife and sword drawing.
I talked with my kids and one of them said, “hey what about a blade of grass” Then I started to think of the blade of grass as a sword and imagined who would use it. I thought a mouse, and maybe that too was obvious but they are cute and fun to draw. Every sword wielding mouse needs an enemy and I needed one you could dislike at a glance. I really hate spiders more than any creature on earth so I went with a yuck spider. I tried to keep it as dynamic as possible full of action in one picture. This is one of my favorite inktober Drawings I did this year.
The prompt for day 6 was rodent. I hadn’t read ahead and was disappointed I drew a mouse the day before. I thought about different rodents and a beaver came to mind. I imagined a story of a beaver and a koi fish who were forced to be neighbors. I pictured a friendly, funny I love to tease, annoy you life long relationship.
